1. Madlen Namro- The Black Pearl
The collection of three stories under a joint name “The Black Pearl” is based on my notes from travelling around Italy. Each of the characters met by me tells me a moving history of his or hers life. When talking to me they experience a particular catharsis: spiritual and emotional cleanse, they release emotions, and they seem to want to tame the sometimes pointless chaos of their lives… The need to confide stems from the internal need of sorting one’s thoughts. Every one of us needs understanding and affection. All of the stories are naturally brought to order by life, it puts them into a coherent wholeness. I invite you to read the stories; I hope that you will find a part of yourselves in them.
2.Cynthia Miller – In Rare Form
THIS STORY CAPTURES THE TRUE SPIRIT OF SURVIVAL IN RARE FORM. THIS IS THE STORY OF TWO CHILDREN WHO SURVIVED A HORRIFIC CRIME IN 1986. THIS IS ALSO THE STORY OF THE MOTHER WHO GAVE THE CHILDREN THE STRENGTH TO SURVIVE. THIS STORY IS VERY TASTEFULLY WRITTEN. THE FAMILY IN THIS STORY WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH. THE CHILDREN IN THIS STORY WILL MAKE YOU CRY. AND THE MOTHER IN THIS STORY WILL MAKE YOU STAND UP AND SHOUT TILL THE FINISH LINE. WHEN YOU FINISH READING” IN RARE FORM” YOU WILL BELIEVE IN MIRACLES ALL OVER AGAIN!
3. G.G. Linton – Shoes On The Wrong Foot
Her best friend Charmaine introduced her to Devon, the man who would eventually became her husband. Devon was tall and athletic and instantly builds a relationship with her and Craig; she believed that her soul mate had finally arrived. Shortly after their marriage CeCe and Devon had two more sons, Devon Jr. and Ty, but that loving man that she had married started showing a pattern of behavior that both frightened her and cornered her into a position of submission, while struggling with the reality of facing domestic violence once again, gave her the courage to leave him, but more drama awaits. Carl is a generous Business owner who showers her with affections and gifts, but has a dangerous side to him that no one sees coming. CeCe realized that as wonderful as love is, it can be as uncomfortable as “Shoes on the Wrong Foot”.
